Dates: May 14, 2025 – July 9, 2025 Time: Wednesdays @ 5 PM to 7 PM PST / 6:00 pm -7:30pm MST Format: Online via Zoom Investment: $249 CAD The feminine in Norse mythology - its wisdom, power, and magic - has often been subdued, hidden beneath the surface of history. Seiðr + Stone is a call to dig deep, uncovering the rich tapestry of the feminine divine through the echoes of historical texts, archaeological discoveries, and the timeless power of storytelling. This immersive 9-week journey honors the wisdom and magic of the Völva, the seeress and sorceress of the North. Together, we will reclaim ancient seiðr practices - journeying, prophecy, and spirit connection - while creating and consecrating sacred tools inspired by the Völva’s craft. Course Outline (with Völva Tools): Week 1 – Gullveig’s Fire: Discover the indestructible feminine and the wisdom of the Dísir. / Völva Tool: Ashes. Week 2 – Branches of the Soul: Explore Yggdrasil as the Great Mother and the parts of the Norse self. / Völva Tool: The Stav + High Seat. Week 3 – Freya’s Song: Awaken your voice with Galdr to channel energy and connect with the divine. Völva Tool: Sing your own song. Week 4 – Hervör’s Legacy: Reclaim hamingja through ancestral guidance, ritual and Seiðr. Völva Tool: Spirit stones. Week 5 – The Norns and the Runes: Learn to weave fate and carve destiny with the wisdom of the Norns. Völva Tool: Seiðr pouch. Week 6 – Skadi and the Spirits of the Land: Connect with the wild wisdom of mountains and forests. Völva Tool: Collection of land spirits. Week 7 – Learning to See in the Dark: Trust the wisdom of the dark with Nerthus as your guide. / Völva Tool: Veil. Week 8 – Saga: - Embrace the power of storytelling and ancestral memory with Saga. Völva Tool: Write your own story to pass down through generations. Week 9 – Weaving the Threads: Integrate your tools and experiences in a Seiðr ritual of transformation. Völva Tool: Combining all tools to create a Seiðr ritual.
